The Life Jackets ($1,000 )

Here is the $1,000 that I spent on life jackets for the school.
On the 1st  of April 2012 Last year I won an iPad 4 in a competition from the warehouse and $1000 dollars for the school. Things like that. So when I collected it I had to go to the Warehouse and collect it from there and when I walked in with my family I had to wait for a man that was going to dress up in a Harold the giraffe suit. I chose to spend it on life jackets because the school keeps asking for them when we go out of school going to camp or something. I hope you like it.
Please Comment :-)

The Hyperloop

The Hyperloop
                            15-08-13
“Yaaaaaay” we are going in a Hyperloop in Wellington then it goes all the way to Auckland In just 40 mins thats amazing”. “Come on Nakita are you packed yet?” mum yells from in her room “yes mum i’m ready to go but before we go I have to say goodbye to louie, dosh and last of all Harry! “oh seriously! “Seriously I say to mum. “Oh Ok meet me in the car “ok I replied. So I finnally say goodbye to the cats then mum Simon and I are in the car driving to wellington and then we are going in the Hyperloop. “Are we there yet? I ask from the back seat “No mum replies but we are only 10 mins away from arriving there.

“Oh ok “yaaaay. 10 mins latter............... Woo hoo we are here now but there is one little bit of a problem because there is a massive line ahead of us to get in and it will prob take at least one hour to get to the door of the office room where you pay to get into the Hyperloop. “What a second I think the line is moving “Mum Simon come on the line is really moving i’m serious “oh sorry said Simon from behind me. Then Mum moves up too so the line is moving constantly now and there are now only  about 10 odd people in front of us left. and like 1,000 people behind. So we are lucky.”yaaay we are at the front of the line and we are now paying to get into the Hyperloop and then we will be in Auckland in seconds. “but I am really nervous, scared, worried and excited at the same time and its such a horrible feeling inside but I think I will cop just a little bit. So we are making some progress as we are moving along in the hyperloop. “This is a great experience I say to Mum it is going so fast like so fast it is going 1,220 km ( 760 miles ) An hour!

My Yachting & Kayaking Day 2

Here is My Yachting & kayaking reflection Day 2 I hope you like it :-)

My Yachting & Kayaking Reflection Day 2

Something I am pleased with was when me and Tracey  did really really well in the optimist yacht and especially when we were about to fall over.

well I really enjoyed learning to use the tiller in every way I could because it was really hard at first but then it was easy as and now i'm never scared.

Something I found hard was Kayaking back to sure from being under the bridge and it was a very long way because I had to go by the yachts instead of going by the kayaks.

Something I found hard was Kayaking back to sure from being under the bridge and it was a very long way because I had to go by the yachts instead of going by the kayaks.

Something I want to get better at the kayaking because my legs always hurt and it is because I am doing something wrong and because you use that muscle in your keg.

(What can I do about it?)
Try harder.

My Yachting & Kayaking Reflection

Here is my yachting & Kayaking reflection & my go animate to go with it I hope you like it [:-)

Reflection for Yachting & Kayaking Day 1
Something I was pleased with was completing yachting while using the tiller because that was really challenging.
I really enjoyed learning how to control the tiller and that was really fun.Because controlling the tiller was challenging because you had to turn it lots and lots and especially going into sure was harder because you had to turn it left and right constantly until you got to  sure.

Something I found hard was getting Emma to pull the mainsheet rope and calming her down because she was scared and wanted her mum and i found that really hard.
I also found controlling the tiller like i said earlier.

Something that made me think was how to tell Tracey what do when we were  about capsize because I couldn't remember what way to pull the main sheet rope.

Something I want to get better at is knowing how to use the tiller and remembering our to do the main sheet rope and I also need to work on getting scared because you don't need to get scared you are fine and you are safe
(What can I do about it?)
I can work harder on it and then I will get it right.

The Taj Mahal

Here is My Taj Mahal Writing that we have all been working on I hope you like it.

   The Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal is a fantastic building in India ( Agra )  and it took 22 years to build and 20,000 men to build it they built it in the 17th century ( 1600s ). Your not aloud to drive through the gates because they want to keep the place looking beautiful so now the King and queen are laying together in the Taj Mahal. the Queens name is Mumtaz Mahal and the Kings name is Shah Jahan. the king and Queen were happily living together until the Queen died during birth of a newborn. From then on the king was very heartbroken to see his beautiful Queen die and so he got 20,000 men to build him the Taj Mahal so when  22 years of building went past The king had his wife buried under the ground in the Taj Mahal. Then a few years latter the king died and then He got buried under the ground next to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. In the Taj Mahal Grounds there is a symmetry.

Here are some of my pictures of the Taj Mahal that I drew. I hope you like it.

The Rata Tree And The Quiz ( Day 2 )

Here is my Day 3 at camp that is called the Rata tree
and the Quiz and there are also photos of the Rata tree.I hope you like it. :-)
                          The Rata Tree
The Rata tree is aged from 800-1,000 years old it is 13 meters round the base of the tree. I know that because we all went around the tree with all of the girls and then all of the boys did the same holding hands. ( “Oh” and I kissed it )The rata tree is really really tall. When we were visiting the big tree some of us got to climb it and go through to the other side of the tree when we climbed it. Then we got out of the tree  and had biscuits and apples for morning tea and a lollie each. Then we went back to the vans and head back to camp.
Here are some pictures of me and the Rata tree.

The Quizz
Tonight we are having a quizz night and we will have to work with our camp groups. So then that means we have to challenge 5 camp groups and six including our team. So this is prob going to be a hard Quizz But I can do it. So here we are sitting on the sets around the table waiting for the teacher to come in the door with the sheet for the Quizz. Yayyyy!! the teacher is here and we have finally started the Quizz. And now the Quizz is nearly over and when its over we go to bed sadly. :-( But that's alright because there's always another day to come. :-)

My Earthquake Story

Here is my earthquake story that I have finally
finished! I hope you like it :-)
       The Earthquake

I was just sitting down on the ground with the whole class and the teacher and we were in the middle of maths. I could start to feel the ground kind of swaying and then I looked around to see who was jumping or moving to make the room shake but there was no one there so then I looked back at the teacher and then the whole room shook like the whole classroom was on a bridge and the bridge moved. So then I went under the table and everyone else was still on the mat so that meant I was the only one that went  under a table. After that had happened the bell rung but the office ladies did a bit of a whoopsy!because they have to ring the bell and when the bell stops ringing they say “ok  its safe now you  can go outside  but they didn't do that so we just went outside. So then it was all over!
